Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Baltimore, MD origin, third quarter 19th century, a one-and-a-half-gallon ovoid pitcher with brushed fan-shaped floral motifs, circa 1850; paired with a two-gallon cake crock with swag decoration. Pitcher missing spout, with broken and crudely-glued handle, salt drip to reverse, and significant cracks emanating from the underside. Cake crock with rim chips, a 1 3/8" reglued piece to front of rim above handle, and a long hairline to underside. H (of pitcher) 11 1/4".
