Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, early 19th century, a one-gallon ovoid jug with brushed star motif, paired with a two-gallon open-handled jar with cross-shaped brushwork. Jug with significant restoration. Jar with one restored handle, heavy chipping to base, and in-the-firing matte finish to much of surface. H (of jug) 12".
