One-Gallon Stoneware Jug, Stamped "C. CROLIUS / MANUFACTURER / MANHATTAN, WELLS / NEW-YORK," circa 1800, ovoid jug with heavily-tooled spout, the front featuring the cobalt-highlighted maker's mark of Clarkson Crolius, Sr. Brushed cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A restored 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" section to front of jug, involving the "K" and part of the "R" in "YORK". H 11 3/4".
