Four-Quart Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Advertising Jug, Stamped "OTTMAN BRO'S / & CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y," circa 1880, cylindrical jug with tooled shoulder, featuring the slip-trailed cobalt advertising, "Cobbs, / Boston Branch." Cobalt accents to maker's mark and capacity mark. Spout chips. A 3/4" hairline and approximately 1/4" hairline to spout. Staining to surface. Hairlines to base area. H 12".
