One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "G. LENT / TROY," NY State origin, circa 1820, ovoid jug with tooled spout, brush-decorated with a flower accented with stripes and spots. Brushed cobalt highlights to maker's mark and handle terminals. A long, colored X-shaped line to front. Two in-the-firing pings to midsection. Some bubbling to cobalt. H 11 3/8".
