Small-Sized Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, ovoid pitcher with tooled rim, decorated with a two-stemmed flowering plant design emanating from the base. Swag decoration to collar. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Desirable size, measuring slightly under one quart. Two rim chips. A small in-the-firing surface chip to edge of one flower. H 7 1/2".
