One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, ovoid pitcher with footed base and semi-squared rim, decorated with two brushed tulips emanating from a stylized ground. Swag decoration flanking the spout. Leaf motifs to sides of collar. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Excellent color. A thin crack across underside, extending 5 1/4" up base on front. H 10 1/4".
