One-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "FULPER BROS., / FLEMINGTON N.J.," circa 1881-1898, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird perched on a stylized branch. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Three rim chips and a minuscule rim nick. In-the-firing surface pings, primarily on reverse. H 7 1/8".
