Rare Four-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crock with Summit, NJ Advertising, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, late 19th century, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-squared rim, and applied lug handles, featuring the slip-trailed advertising, "F.R. Littell, / Summit. / N.J." Provenance: Recently surfaced in NJ. Rim chips. Two chips to underside at edge, measuring 1" and 1/2". A faint 3" Y-shaped surface line to base on reverse, not visible on interior. A faint V-shaped line to underside, not visible on interior. Some light water glass staining to interior and very minor water glass staining to exterior. H 10 7/8".
