Glazed Stoneware Spaniel Bottle, possibly Jane Lew, WV or OH origin, fourth quarter 19th century, molded figure of a seated spaniel with spout in top of head, the surface covered in a reddish-brown Albany slip glaze. The style of the Albany slip is similar to that found on pieces produced by the Colvin family in Jane Lew, West Virginia during the fourth quarter of the 19th century. A small restored spout chip. H 8 1/2".
