Two Pieces of Glazed Redware, American, 19th century, a cylindrical jar with coggled edge and lead-and-manganese glaze, impressed "N x N" on underside, probably PA origin; paired with a lead-and-manganese-glazed shaving mug, probably Northeastern U.S. Jar with wear to coggling and a few minor chips to underside at edge. Mug with shallow chips and wear to edge of handle, small chips, some light wear to exterior of rim, and small chips and wear to rim of inner cup. H (of jar) 7 3/8" ; H (of mug) 3 1/2" ; Diam. (of mug) 5 5/8".
