Fine Copper-Glazed Redware Jug, Northeastern U.S. origin, second or third quarter 19th century, cylindrical jug with tooled shoulder and slightly-flared spout, the surface decorated with lead-based copper and manganese glazes. Provenance: From a recently-surfaced CA collection. Wear to right edge of handle. Spout with wear and shallow chipping. Some surface flakes and light surface wear. H 7 1/2".
