Fine Copper-Glazed Redware Rundlet, Northeastern U.S. origin, Northeastern U.S. origin, possibly Genesee County, NY, early to mid 19th century, barrel-form keg with heavily-tooled banding to top and base, the midsection fashioned with an original pouring hole. Surface covered in an appealing, mottled-green lead-and-copper glaze. Some wear to surface. Two short and very faint lines from pouring hole at midsection. An in-the-firing glazed-over separation to shoulder area. H 8 1/2".
