One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WM, MOYER.," Harrisburg, PA, circa 1858-1861, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with a brushed tulip motif. Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Provenance: From a recently-surfaced PA collection, purchased by the consignor between 1963 and 1975. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some minor bubbling to cobalt and a few minor in-the-firing flaws to surface. H 8 1/4".
