Three Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Western PA origin, circa 1875, a canning jar with "wax sealer" rim, stenciled "J.E. ENEIX / NEW GENEVA, PA.;" a butter crock with two freehand stripes; and a small jug with three freehand stripes. Eneix jar with some streaks of staining to exterior and chipping to interior of rim. Butter crock in excellent condition with light staining and a minor flake to interior of rim. Jug in excellent condition with a minor chip to underside at edge, a small piece of adhered clay to shoulder, and two small, in-the-firing chips to handle. H (of jug) 10".
