Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Stamped "N. FURMAN / SOUTH AMBOY, N.J.," circa 1846-1856, a cylindrical crock with brushed floral motif, inscribed "1 1/2" in cobalt on reverse; paired with a two-gallon ovoid jar with floral motif, inscribed "2" on reverse. Smaller with large L-shaped crack from rim on reverse, descending from a rim chip. Larger with exfoliation throughout, some of which is partially sealed, and rim chips. H (of smaller) 7 7/8".
