Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, PA origin, circa 1875, a one-gallon cylindrical crock with brushed floral motif with graduated, spotted blossom, stamped "EVAN R. JONES / PITTSTON. PA;" paired with a one-gallon jug with brushed floral decoration, attributed to H.B. Pfaltzgraff, York, PA. Crock in excellent condition with staining to surface, light wear to edge of handles, and a tiny rim nick on reverse. Jug in excellent condition with staining a small, in-the-firing surface fissure near base on right side of jug's front. H (of crock) 7 3/8" ; H (of jug) 10 1/2".
