Glazed Redware Hunt Scene Pitcher, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, molded pitcher with twig-form handle and relief scenes of hounds taking down a stag and boar. Surface covered in a streaky lead-and-manganese glaze. Small incised details to animal's faces. Underside impressed with John Bell maker's mark. Large restoration to spout. Some restoration to relief decoration on one side. Handle reglued with painted restoration along breaks. H 7 3/8".
