Scarce Small-Sized Stoneware Milkpan with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to David Parr, Sr., Baltimore, MD, circa 1825, tapered pan with footed base, applied tab handles, and wide pouring spout, decorated with a swag-and-hanging-flower motif on the front and reverse. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A shallow 1" rim chip to right of spout. Minor base chips. A large, faint circular hairline on underside, continuing a short distance onto base in a few places. One line additionally extends approximately 1 3/4" up base. A shallow chip to underside at edge. Light edge wear to rim, spout, handles, and interior. H 5" ; Diam. 8".
