Rare Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, NC origin, early 20th century, unusual, flaring form with footed base, small pouring spout, and rat-tail handle, decorated throughout with spattered cobalt under a clear salt glaze. Brushed cobalt band and spotting to handle. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 6" ; Diam. 5 1/2".
