Glazed Redware Jug, Galena, IL origin, second half 19th century, cylindrical jug with semi-squared spout and ribbed strap handle, the surface covered in a clear lead glaze with green, orange, and yellow mottling throughout. Chips and wear to base. A 2 1/8" crack on underside, continuing 1 1/4" up base. Exfoliation to underside. Some scattered exfoliation to base area. Minor surface wear. H 9 3/4".
