Fine Glazed Redware Jug, New England origin, possibly Bristol County, MA, late 18th or early 19th century, highly-ovoid jug with footed base, semi-rounded spout, and ribbed strap handle, its lead-glazed surface featuring dipped manganese cascading down a light orange ground. Excellent color. Wear to spout and handle. One base chip. Light wear and staining to midsection. H 7".
