Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Stenciled "T.F. REPPERT. / GREENSBORO. / PA.," circa 1880, a three-gallon jar and two-gallon ovoid jug, both with stenciled and freehand cobalt decoration. Jar is slightly out-of-round with some some fry to cobalt, light surface wear, and a glazed-over ping near base. Jug has in-the-firing dryness to surface, shallow chipping to front of base, a 1 1/4" glazed-over chip to side of handle, a small chip to molding at base of spout, and a salt drip to shoulder. H (of jar) 13 3/4".
