Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jars, Greensboro or New Geneva, PA origin, circa 1880, both with "wax sealer" rims, a tapered jar, decorated with four freehand stripes, paired with a cylindrical jar, decorated with a graduated swag. Taller jar with minor chips to interior of rim, chipping to inner rim for lid, and some light staining. Shorter jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of shorter) 6 3/8".
