Two Stoneware Jars with Cobalt Stripe Decoration, Western PA or WV origin, circa 1875, a tapered jar with "wax sealer" rim, decorated with seven graduated stripes, Western PA origin, paired with a second jar, decorated with four stripes, Western PA or WV origin. Seven-stripe jar with chips to inner rim for lid, a few chips to outer rim, and two minor base chips. Other jar with a 7/8" chip to interior of rim, a tiny chip to interior of rim, and a few short, faint surface lines to base, not visible on interior. H (of seven-stripe jar) 8".
