Two Pieces of Stoneware, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, a swag-decorated butter crock with original lid, paired with an ovoid jar with tall collar and foliate motif five times around the body. Butter crock with numerous rim chips and wear to interior. Lid with crazing throughout and chips. Jar with two small rim chips. Dimensions (of butter crock): 8 5/8" x 5" ; H (of jar) 7 7/8".
