Fine Glazed Redware Sugar Bowl, PA or MD origin, early to mid 19th century, thin-walled, ovoid form with footed base and flared rim, the surface dipped in cream-colored slip over light-orange base clay, decorated with copper and manganese sponging around the rim and midsection, and covered in a clear lead glaze. Very nice condition with some wear to rim and glaze pitting to interior of rim. H 2 3/8" ; Diam. (across top) 4 1/8".
