Sold!  $325.

Fine Copper-Glazed Redware Flowerpot, PA origin, second half 19th century, tapered flowerpot with footed base and tooled rim, the surface dipped in cream-colored slip, decorated with spattered manganese, and covered in a lead glaze lightly colored with copper oxide, producing a beautiful and rare sea green color. Incised "12" on underside. This flowerpot survives in difficult-to-find, excellent condition with a 1" hairline from rim, a minor glaze flake near base, and some typical residue from use on interior. H 6 1/8".
