One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar, Western PA or WV origin, circa 1880, cylindrical jar with rounded "wax sealer" rim, decorated with a freehand "1" below wavy and straight freehand stripes. Excellent condition with an in-the-firing stone ping to midsection and some minor in-the-firing lines to base. H 10 1/2".
