Scarce Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Harvest Jug, probably Western PA origin, third quarter 19th century, ovoid form with oval ring handle, fashioned with opposing wide and narrow pouring spouts. Salt-glazed surface, the base of the handle highlighted in cobalt slip. Excellent, essentially as-made condition, the larger spout with a few minor in-the-making chips. H 12 1/4".
