One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "G.W. FULPER & BROS. / FLEMINGTON, N.J.," circa 1880, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, flattened rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird perched on a stylized branch. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. A 1" chip to side of rim and a second small chip to side of rim. A glazed-over ping near base on front. Shallow chipping to interior of rim. H 10 1/4".
