Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "G.W. FULPER & BROS. / FLEMINGTON, N.J.," circa 1880, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird perched on a leaf. Light cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some minor staining and a few minor, glazed-over chips to spout. H 15 1/2".
