Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to William Morgan, possibly with Thomas Amoss, Baltimore, MD, circa 1820, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder rounded rim, and arching tab handles, decorated on the front and reverse shoulder with a slip-trailed daisy motif flanked by leafy garlands. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A 1 1/4" flake to underside at edge. A small base chip and a few tiny base nicks. A 1" line to foot, not visible on interior. H 11 3/4".
