Rare Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Inscribed "Haxstun & Co," Ft. Edward, NY origin, circa 1880, squat-shaped jar with rounded shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with a slip-trailed floral motif accented with dotted trails. Base with rare slip-trailed cobalt signature, "Haxstun & Co." Excellent condition with a short, faint Y-shaped line on underside, not visible on interior. H 8 3/4".
