Rare Small-Sized Molded Redware Pitcher, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, elaborately-molded pitcher with relief grapevine motif, spurred handle, and spout in the form of a stylized bird's face, the surface decorated with streaks of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Underside impressed with John Bell maker's mark. Light wear to surface. Minor wear to handle. Three tiny nicks to rim. A small spout chip. H 5 3/8".
