Glazed Stoneware Canning Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and narrow mouth with threaded interior, the surface covered in a celadon glaze with heavy cream-colored runs to surface. Provenance: Property deaccessioned by the Miller House Museum, Hagerstown, MD. Excellent condition with a shallow 1/2" rim chip and minor in-the-firing rim wear. H 8 1/4".
