Quart-Sized Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with semi-squared rim, decorated around the body with five vertically-brushed foliate motifs. A 3" crack from rim. Two chips to interior of rim. A small base chip. A small in-the-firing ping to shoulder. H 7".
