Rare Two-Gallon Stoneware Bowl with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "J.B. LEATHERS / MT. EAGLE. PA," circa 1875, ovoid bowl with flattened rim, decorated with a brushed open-centered tulip on the front. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Appealing form with rare Central Pennsylvania maker's mark. Large rim chips. Otherwise excellent condition. H 6 1/4" ; Diam. 12 1/2".
