Very Rare Stoneware Chicken Waterer, Stamped "J.B. LEATHERS / MT. EAGLE PA.", circa 1875, domed form with knob-shaped finial and depressed base with added clay section, the surface covered in a clear salt glaze. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a salt drip to shoulder and two in-the-firing vertical lines to base area. H 12".
