Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "EDMANDS & CO.," Charlestown, MA, circa 1860, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a flowering plant, culminating in a heart-shaped blossom. As-made condition. Warping to front of rim. A 1" in-the-firing base chip on reverse. A few small in-the-firing iron pings to surface. H 10 1/4".
