Iron-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "CHARLESTOWN," Frederick Carpenter, Charlestown, MA origin, circa 1812-1827, highly-ovoid jug with footed base and heavily-tooled spout, featuring a dipped iron-oxide decoration to shoulder and base. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 9 3/4".
