Four Pieces of Western PA Stoneware, circa 1875, a small-sized jug, stenciled "T.W. CASEY & CO. / WHOLESALE / LIQUOR / DEALERS. / NO. 971 LIBERTY ST. / PITTSBURGH. PA;" a small-sized jar, stenciled "JAS. MONTEER(?) / GROCER. / Cor Webster / Ave And / LINE ST PITTS. / Pa.;" a one-gallon jug, stenciled "W.P. JOHNSTON / & CO. / PITTS. PA;" and a one-gallon jug, stenciled "EDWARD O'DONNELL. / WHOLESALE LIQUOR / DEALER / 1372 / SECOND AVE. / PITTSBURGH. PA." Casey jug broken and reglued with minor chips along crack. Monteer jar with a salt drip to reverse and faintness to stenciling. Johnston jug with crazing to surface, a filled spout chip, a minor spout chip, a salt drip to shoulder, a glazed-over ping near base, and a tiny base nick. O'Donnell jug with broken and reglued handle and an in-the-firing chip to shoulder. H (of tallest) 11 1/2".
