Rare Cobalt-Decorated "DEALERS IN STONEWARE" Pittsburgh, PA Stoneware Advertising Jug, Western PA origin, circa 1875, semi-ovoid jug with tooled spout, featuring the rare stenciled cobalt advertising, "MILLS & CO. / DEALERS IN / STONEWARE & C / 25 S LIBERTY S. / PITTS." Tight cracks/crazing to front. A few salt drips to surface. A partially-filled 1/2" chip to side of spout. H 11 1/2".
