Two Three-Gallon Stoneware Crocks with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Ft. Edward, NY origin, circa 1875, one stamped "OTTMAN BROS. / & CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.;" the other stamped "FORT EDWARD STONE WARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y." Ottman Brothers crock with chips to interior of rim, a small in-the-firing ping to rim on reverse, and some light staining. Other crock with a large, tight X-shaped surface line below one handle, not visible on interior, and a 7" vertical surface line beside opposite handle, not visible on interior, as well as a salt drip to one handle and some staining to surface.
