Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Philadelphia, PA origin, circa 1875, both of cylindrical form with tooled shoulder and squared rim, each decorated with a horizontal tulip motif. Shorter jar with a few rim chips, some residue to exterior, and felt residue to underside. Taller jar with restoration to a large area of one side, a thin unrestored crack across underside, and some in-the-firing chipping to rim. H (of shorter jar) 8 3/8".
