Rare Redware Vase with Copper-Slip Decoration, Incised "E.D.," Emanuel Duschek, Chicago, IL, circa 1900, ovoid form with flared base and tooled shoulder, the surface decorated with dipped copper slip and covered in a clear lead glaze. Underside impressed "E.D" for the Chicago, IL potter, Emanuel Duschek. (See previous lot description for information on this rediscovered potter.) Hole drilled in underside. Large base chips. Wear to rim. A small scratch to shoulder. H 11 1/4".
