Two Stoneware Crocks with Cobalt Bird Decorations, a four-gallon crock with bird on stylized branch, stamped "NEW YORK / STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.;" paired with a four-gallon crock with cobalt bird on flowering vine motif, attributed to Binghamton, NY. New York Stoneware Company crock with a 2 1/4" line to interior of rim (not visible on exterior), a small chip and minor nick to reverse, a tiny rim nick on front, small spots of fry to cobalt, and staining to surface. Other crock with exfoliation to shoulder area and rim, a 2 1/4" surface line from rim on reverse (not visible on interior), and a red ink notation to underside.
