Three Miniature Stoneware Jugs with Alleghany, PA Advertising, American, late 19th or early 20th century, an Albany-slip-glazed example, incised "Buento & Sc?ierock / Staple & Fancy Groceries / Pure Cider Vinegar / Guaranteed / 368 Washington Ave / Allegheny Pa;" an Albany-slip glazed example, incised "Pure Cider Vinegar / Guaranteed / T. French / Staple & Fancy Groceries / Allegheny Pa.;" and an Albany-and-Bristol-slip-glazed jug, incised "Compliments / of Jacob Krous / 128 Spring Garden Ave / Allegheny Pa." Buento jug with a chip to shoulder, very minor spout wear, and some base wear. French jug with some base wear. Krous jug with a minor spout nick, including a small, surface-level spider line extending through it. H 3 1/2".
