Rare Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stenciled "HAMILTON & ROBBINS. / MANUFACTURERS / OF BEST BLUE / STONEWARE / NEW GENEVA, PA.," circa 1905, cylindrical jug featuring the maker's stenciling, "HAMILTON / & / ROBBINS / MANUFACTURERS / OF BEST BLUE / STONEWARE / NEW GENEVA, PA." Stenciled foliate devices flanking the maker's stenciling. Stenciled "3" to shoulder. Spout chips. Crazing to shoulder area and spout on front, sides, and reverse, all probably in-the-firing. Light streaks of slip to surface.
