Fine Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar with Stenciled Pears Decoration, Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1875, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded "wax sealer" rim, decorated with a stenciled design of two pears hanging from a leafy stem. Excellent condition with two minor chips to shoulder molding on reverse. H 8 1/4".
